I haven’t had a lot of time to tinker since getting my LocalDeck. a couple of weeks ago but spending some time playing with it today.
I have found that when using the side USB connector that whilst it works it tends to become disconnected fairly easily. it appears that the case prevents the connector from bottoming out which means it works but with only minor wiggling such as the device or cable being moved around on a desk it comes loose and disconnects.
If I remove the PCB from the case and plug into it then it bottoms out and doesn’t come loose
I have tried a couple of other USB cables and they have the same issue so I don’t think its a cable tolerance issue. It is possibly either a case tolerance issue or a PCB connector tolerance issue. is anyone else having similar issues or is it just me?
