Anyone else try faceplate printing from the .stl?

Figured I’d print a faceplate using the .stl file I found elsewhere on the LocalBytes site.

It printed beautifully in PLA and fits onto the base of the LocalDeck perfectly – but the tabs on the side don’t click in to hold it in place the way the grey-black one from my bundle does.

Has anyone else tried a custom plate and if so, how’d it work out for you?

Always looking for ways we can improve the design!
Can I check if it’s fitting at all, or if it’s sliding on but not being held in place by the clips, etc?

Admittedly, the later revisions of the case don’t lend itself as well for FDM as it does for SLA…

@AAllport could you also upload the stl files for the whole device if you have them.

Particularly:

faceplate (available)
backplate
whole device (faceplate + backplate)
stands (that come with the device)

Im looking into building a better stand, and could use the existing stl files, would surely make my life easier

The issue is that the stand keeps falling off. I managed to fix it by adding some tape to the stand before fitting it in the holes
