LocalDeck - Micropython

I appreciate this is out of your support responsibilities, but if I was to attempt to install something like Micropython on the LocalDecks ESP32, is there anything preventing me from reflashing the ESP32 back to stock (ESPHome). Are there BOOT buttons/pins as normal?

I’d like to experiment but don’t want to soft lock my device from reverting to stock. I do understand that it will be at my own risk

Yup, there’s a boot button on the bottom hooked up to ~~GPIO0 (IIRC)~~ GPIO9
You will have to take it out of the rear case to access it, though!

That said, ESPTool is usually pretty good at not locking devices nowadays.
