Hello
I wasn’t sure whether to reply to thr other topic with thr same issue, or create a new post, so thought I would try both! I’ve today starting having this same symptom as reported in this discussion:
https://forum.mylocalbytes.com/d/184-smart-plug-fails-to-disconnect-power
with one of my 3 power monitoring plugs, that have worked fine up until now.
The plug in question has a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet plugged into it, and I use an automation in Home Assistant to charge the battery when it gets down to 50%, until it reaches 80%, and then turn off again. The blue power led goes on and off on the smart plug button, and you can hear a relay click from inside, however power to the tablet is NOT being cut, and therefore is constantly charging even when you manually press the power button on the side of the plug to turn it off. It has worked flawlessly up until today, for probably 24 months or so. Are you able to suggest anything please?
