LocalDeck Encryption Key

The LocalDeck looks great and I’m super excited to get going with it! I may have broken the expected setup flow and need some help getting back on track 🙂

I was struggling to get the configurations setup correctly and figured that setting up the LocalDeck from a clean slate would help. I deleted the LocalDeck from my HA devices and ESPHome and started the setup flow again. HA is discovering the LocalDeck, but now is asking for my encryption key. How do I retrieve my encryption key or alternatively reset the LocalDeck back to the original configuration?

When you delete a device from ESPHome in HA it doesn’t delete the configuration file (which contains the encryption key) but moves it to \homeassistant\config\esphome\trash - have a look, it should be there.
