Kushan Hi, I noticed another update to the configurator was pushed out this week, but I’ve yet to see a changelog for it or the firmware - are changes kept anywhere and if so, where? If not, could changes be published in future?
AAllport Hi Kushan, Good spot! We’ll take a look this week at having the GitHub changelog pulled into the update dialogue for the Addon Updater! As AKTK mentioned, the configurator is all OSS and available on GitHub - https://github.com/LocalBytes/localdeck-config/releases You may notice two different add-ons in the addons repository LocalDeck Configurator - Gets built whenever we tag a release LocalDeck Configurator Dev - Gets built whenever there’s a push to the main branch of configurator. This can be considered a “bleeding edge” version, and it’s what we base our manual tests on before tagging a release Hope this helps!
AKTK Github seems to be the best spot to see them at the moment: https://github.com/LocalBytes/localdeck-config/releases/tag/v0.5
Kushan That’s really helpful, thanks for the response! I don’t know why I didn’t think of looking at Github 😅
AAllport It’s not a natural step to consider when considering a consumer device. As of last week, all new releases will ship with a changelog. This won’t be visible for v0.5, but it is showing on the latest dev version and should be present for v0.6
