Having major issues , with my device , it works for about a minute then disconnects and HA never see’s it again

Then the device and all entities become unavailable in HA and never update again, Only way to reconnect to the unit is via the serial cable again, pushing the buttons on the deck does nothing. The 8 buttons I configured via the configuration tool then never flash on key press again only the unsigned ones, is this expected?
