Problems connecting to new plug

Hi there,

I purchased a couple of pre-flashed tasmota plugs from yourselves.

Finally managed to get them connected to my guest network after lots of on/off retries (my main SSID has an exclamation mark in it).

Coming back to the plugs, I can see them connected to my guest network (2.4G) but can’t connect via browser - getting a connection timeout.

Am reluctant to reset given how many times I had to turn on/off the first time in order to get connected to my guest network. Can anyone suggest anything?

If they are on a standard guest network, it is likely you will not be able to see them. Most guest networks are designed to prevent information being passed around the local network. So that guests can not see local devices.

Thanks - can I confirm whether the device should connect to a network with an ‘!’ in the SSID?
