LED Strip Controller

I got the email about the new LED Strip Controller.

It looked excellent. I’m trying to understand though. By individually controllable what does that mean in effect?
Is that keep the strip as 1 long chain and control individual bulbs, or, as I hope you can split the strip to an extent and individually control groups of bulbs.
I like the idea of being able to spilt a 5m led strip into say 3 × 1.5m and be able to control each. Even better if I could wire so the 3 x strips are in different parts of my campervan but be controlled via mqqt.

I’m not sure whether I’ve got the wrong end of the stick.

Thanks for stopping by! I’ll do my best to help.

The individually addressable LED Strip means each LED on the strip can be controlled individually. There are cut points along each strip so you will be able to cut into 3×1.5m strips (or close to).

WLED (the software on the controller) does allow you to set segments to a specific colour.

If the three strips you want will be close to each other, you could wire them together after cutting. You would either need to solder them or find connectors on Amazon / AliExpress.

If you are not comfortable with that method, you could buy additional controllers for each strip
