LB PM plug on/off button failure

Hello,

I have one of the local byte tasmota PM UK plugs which seems to have failed as the button on the side will no longer power on and off the attached devices however the plug will still read the correct power if it think it is in on mode.

This is the second plug in the batch that I bought a while back that has failed. Plug serial is 2023-10-TAS
Have there been improvements made to the plugs since I bought them last time to stop them failing after a while?
I’d bee keen to replace the plug at some point but would like to know if this issue has been resolved.
