Thank you for reaching out, though sorry to read your smart plugs are misbehaving.
Regarding your Tasmota smart plug, the lack of a light leads me to believe the unit may be dead. However, to double check this, please try toggling power to the unit 7 times as described below:

ESPHome doesn’t have the same reset mechanism. However, the fact that it lights up leads me to believe it may not be dead. Could you please try powering it up outside your network range? Alternatively, powering the plug up after switching off your WIFI to see if it broadcasts a hotspot then?
