Struggling to get started with LocalDeck

Hello,

I’m a little rusty with Home Assistant as I’ve not really worked on mine for 2-3 years. I’ve just got it updated to the latest versions before trying to implement a LocalDeck that I just received today.

I believe I’ve got the basics configured but its not functioning as expected.
It shows up as 1 device and only 1 entity under ESPHome. The entity is ‘firmware’. Surely there should be a lot more entities showing?
I’m able to install a very simple test configuration of 4 buttons created with the LocalDeck Configurator addon. That compiles and completes installation okay. Then I find the 4 buttons I defined do nothing, whilst all the others flash a light briefly when pressed. However after several minutes, those no longer respond either.
The local IP pings fine but the web page on the LocalDeck reports “refused to connect”. (Although I saw it displayed fine when I first defined the IP before downloading any config.)

What do you suggest I do? Should I wipe everything and start from scratch?
