I am very happy with my original LocalDeck and its used pretty much every day by myself and other less technical family members. Have a physical button to push to get something to happen is very understandable for people.
I have been considering getting another for my desk and knew a hardware revision was coming. So when I got the e-mail to say the new version was in stock I ordered one straight away.
I wrote a review with feedback for the original Local Deck here
So this writeup will focus on the differences and issues as I see them.
Disclaimer: This new feedback I do feel may come across as negative because it does focus on some problems.
I want to make it clear that I do like this product and would not hesitate to use it again. I am just giving honest feedback and my opinion and happy to have a dialogue about possible ideas for the future.

some of the imperfections in the faceplate is probably one of the bigger concerns. Maybe I just got a bad one? maybe others have a similar issue?
It should be obvious but I will state it for the record: This is just a first impression as I have not had a chance to actually use it for any length of time yet.
