Unable to connect to plugs wifi

I bought four of the plugs from you recently. I’ve tried them all and none of them will allow me to connect to them as shown in the setup video on youtube. Each plug shows its available but when I connect nothing happens. Showing as connected but no internet but its impossible to do anything from there. Nothing shows on the web page which I understand is supposed to come up as 192.168.4.1?

Do these actually work? Can you please explain how I’m supposed to connect to them ?

So sorry to hear your smart plugs aren’t working as expected.

To eliminate some common issues we come across, could you please confirm the following:

Are you trying to connect to the web interface via http and not https? Some browsers now default to https.
If you’re using a mobile device, could you please ensure mobile data is switched off?

If the above doesn’t help, could you please confirm if you have the ESPHome or Tasmota variant of the smart plugs?

Thanks for your response. I finally figured out how to get these to show up by using my phone to log in to 192.168.4.1 for each one. That allowed me to set them up which for some reason my desktop , using various browsers would not. Anyway I set up three of them yesterday and all seemed okay and working overnight and this morning. However I notice that one appears to have stopped working and is not reporting any data and I cant log in to it via its IP address. How can I tell if its failed or does the fact I cant login but previously could mean it has failed? BTW these are the Tasmota smart plugs

I’m pleased you got those three working! Regarding the other plug, could you please try plugging it in close to your WIFI access point? This will allow us to eliminate most connection issues.

If that doesn’t work, please get back to me.

All these plugs are very close the the wi-fi router , within three/four feet. Three plugs working but I notice they drop connection fairly regularly, i.e, they have been on 48 hours and suddenly disappear from the network. The router can’t see them until I reboot it. These are bought to monitor power usage on two servers attached to UPS so the fact they drop connection and require a router reboot is not ideal!. Servers are on 24 hours so rebooting them to get the plugs working again is not good. So three out four are connected but drop out (they all have static iP’s) and the fourth wont connect at all. It can’t be seen by the router so can’t be set up.
