Are you trying to install wled on the bulb, or are you simply trying to control the bulb remotely using wled?
I don't think the first is officially supported, however I would argue that this is probably overkill for a single bulb.
However, you could enable the wled effect component inside of the ESPHome config which would allow you to control the bulb using a number of real time protocols. DDP isn't explicitly listed, but it should allow you to control is as a remote wled device.
I have not done this myself, so can't speak for it's reliability, but is probably a good place to start looking
