I’ve had a pair of smart plugs working for a few months in my home office. Both used purely for power monitoring.

One was switched over to be a remotely controllable plug a week or so back and this plug has now stopped responding to power commands.

The devices are running via homeassistant/esphome plugin. If I look at the web interface, I can see the command being received but the power is continually provided and reported

If I press the button on the side of plug, it doesn’t change the power state.

Is there anything I can do to further diagnose this or does it sound like a dead plug?

    Hi pault

When the plug stopped working, did this coincide with any firmware updates you applied? If not, it sounds like you may have a dead plug on your hands.
