I got hit with customs

I kinda forgot about this project (so sorry! still looks great!) until I got a mail from our local post provider (Bpost in Belgium) to pay € 36,31 customs. I’m kinda confused because I’m sure I ordered from a Europe warehouse because I got hit with even higher customs in the past and never doing that again, yet here we are.

Worst part is I get an image from the tracking page showing:
VAT PAID: DE353139511 Cross-Europe via Micro Business.

Details amount to be paid:
Customs formalities (bpost): €18.50
VAT: €17.81
Total: €36.31

So yeah also contacting Bpost but wanted to keep you guys in the loop.

I’m sorry to read you got hit with customs. Please can you send me an email with your order number and I will have a look. As a rule of thumb, VAT is included in your order. If a customer is charged VAT unduly, we refund them for the amount.
